Christ Church Cathedral - Tombs in Lady Chapel from "The Fifty Water Colours Drawings of Oxford" c1900
On the right is the tomb of one of the Priors of St. Frideswide, Alexander de Sutton (1294-1316). To the left is the recumbent Nowers, a companion of the Black Prince, who died in 1425. In the background we see part of the great “St. Michael” window in the North Transept.

This wonderful print is a wonderful print by the Artist W. Matthison. An artist who's original works are highly sort after today. This print is still on its original paper backing.
